As HURI’s director of publications, Oleh Kotsyuba oversees the Institute’s publications program, which includes scholarly monographs and translations, as well as the journal Harvard Ukrainian Studies.
His own research examines the cultural afterlife of oppressive regimes after their formal demise, focusing on the responses in Ukrainian and Russian literature and theater to the recent events of the Russian war on Ukraine.
