The Melnik Papers chronicle Ukrainian immigration from Ukraine to Siberia, Manchuria, China and eventual settlement in the USA during a period dating from the mid-1880s to the mid-1980s. The papers include biographical materials of the Melnik family and documents pertaining to the activity of the Ukrainian organizations in the diaspora. The collection containing personal documents, correspondence, photographs, newspaper clippings and brochures has been donated by Nicholas and Olga Melnik.
