The Kyiv Connection Online Lecture Series
Date and Time
This spring, the Davis Center, the Ukrainian Research Institute at Harvard (HURI), and the Kyiv School of Economics are collaborating on an online series, "Kyiv Connection: Disciplinary Dialogues on Ukraine." The series will feature compelling and contemporary conversations across various disciplines, all from a Ukrainian perspective. Each session will feature a Ukrainian scholar in dialogue with an international counterpart, offering diverse viewpoints and rich insights.
This second discussion — "War through Historians’ Eyes ?"— will feature Serhii Plokhii, the Mykhailo S. Hrushevs'kyi Professor of Ukrainian History and director of the Ukrainian Research Institute at Harvard University (HURI), in conversation with Christopher Miller, Professor of International History at Fletcher School, Tufts University.
What about technology? Does this war change the way the wars were fought in the past? Does Ideology matter? How will the outcome of the war influence the future World Order? These and many other questions will lie at the heart of the conversation.
