Film Screening: 2000 Meters to Andriivka by Mstyslav Chernov

Attend a screening of the latest film from Mstyslav Chernov, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and director of Academy Award-winning “20 Days in Mariupol.” This latest feature documents the life and times of a Ukrainian brigade, fighting fiercely to liberate the Russian-occupied village of Andriivka. Chernov and his AP colleague Alex Babenko combine original footage, bodycam video, and powerful moments of reflection, to reveal with haunting intimacy the unending toll of the Russia-Ukraine war on liberating soldiers.
A brief introduction by Emily Channell-Justice, Director of the Temerty Contemporary Ukraine Program at HURI, will precede the screening.

This event is organized by Harvard students in collaboration with Ukraine on Campus, Razom for Ukraine and the Temerty Contemporary Ukraine Program at HURI. It is presented as part of the 2026 TCUP Conference: Solidarity Within and Beyond Ukraine.
