 Roksolana Mykhaylyk is Reseacher in multilingualism and empirical linguistics in the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education at the UiT, The Arctic University of Norway, Tromsø. Dr. Mykhaylyk received her candidate of philological sciences degree (1996) from the Institute of Ukrainian Languages, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and a PhD (2010) in linguistics from Stony Brook University (SUNY). Dr. Mykhaylyk’s interest in language acquisition and bilingualism is reflected in her proposed research project while at HURI—“Bilingualism: Individual Benefits and Societal Risks.”
