 Andriy Zayarnyuk is Associate Professor in the Department of History at the University of Winnipeg. He received his PhD in history from the University of Alberta. His research interests include modern Ukrainian and Polish history, Habsburg Galicia, urban history, nationalism and identities, and class formation. While at HURI Dr. Zayarnyuk’s proposed research project will be “City on the Move: A Social and Cultural History of Lviv’s Main Train Terminal, 1904‒1980.”
