The conversation will be hosted by </span><a href="https://www.huri.harvard.edu/people/emily-channell-justice" data-entity-type="external"><span>Emily Channell-Justice</span></a><span>, director of the Temerty Contemporary Ukraine Program at HURI, and held under the Chatham House Rule.</span></p><h4><em><span>This is a private event for Harvard Ukrainian Summer Institute (HUSI) students, faculty, and staff.</span></em></h4><h2><span>About the Speaker</span></h2><p><span>Yevhen Hlibovytsky is a Ukrainian public intellectual who has been active in the debate on Ukraine's long-term development and its impact on the rest of the world. He is a founding partner of the think tank Frontier Institute and a member of the Nestor Group, an "informal alliance of intellectuals and civic activists, established with the aim of developing a strategic vision for Ukraine" [</span><a href="https://usa.mfa.gov.ua/en/news/51316-v-posolystvi-ukrajini-v-ssha-vidbulasy-diskusija-za-uchastyu-predstavnikiv-nestorivsykoji-grupi" data-entity-type="external"><span>Source</span></a><span>]. Hlibovytsky has extensive experience in Ukraine’s reform sector and is engaged with projects involving civil society, local self-governance, and central government. In the last 20 years, he has also worked for OSCE and other international organizations in Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Central Europe, building a comparative understanding of transformation trajectories in post-communist countries. Hlibovytsky is a supervisory board member of Suspilne, the Ukrainian Public Broadcasting Service, and an advisory board member of Razom for Ukraine, a US-based advocacy group.</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p>
