DESCRIPTION:<h3>	<br>Private event for 2024 Harvard Ukrainian Summer Institute (HUSI) students.</h3><p>	HUSI students and instructors are invited to a casual reception to mark the opening of the summer term. Refreshments will be provided. </p><p>	<!--break--></p><p>	<drupal-media data-entity-type="media" data-entity-uuid="9287b657-fea6-49c3-9ac3-f34949db807c" data-view-mode="hwp_full_width"></drupal-media></p><p>	The reception will take place alongside a special exhibition of photography and letters that was curated but one of HURI’s current Research Fellows, <a href="https://huri.harvard.edu/people/alex-averbuch-2024" title="">Alex Averbuch</a>, while he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the <a href="https://daviscenter.fas.harvard.edu/" target="_blank" title="">Davis Center</a>: “Our Life Behind Barbed Wire: Photography from Ukrainian Ostarbeiters in Nazi Germany.” The exhibition was organized by the Davis Center and co-sponsored by HURI.
