The collection includes monograph and serial titles supporting courses offered by the Ukrainian Studies program in history, literature, and language, and the [Harvard Ukrainian Summer Institute](/harvard-ukrainian-summer-institute "Harvard Ukrainian Summer Institute"); reference aids such as encyclopedias and dictionaries; and specialized bibliographies of monographs and serials. ## Slavic Studies: A Research Guide

In the Slavic and Eurasian studies guide, you will find an overview of the size, scope and history of the Harvard University Library's Slavic collection; a bibliography of selected reference works (archival guides, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and atlases) in the major Slavic languages; tips on searching for books and dissertations at Harvard and beyond; lists of links for Slavic e-resources (electronic journals, online databases and indexes, news sources, country data, and government documents); a description of some of Harvard's Slavic special collections (manuscript collections, photographs and other visual material, and maps); and recommended web resources in Slavic studies outside of Harvard.
