### HUSI students and instructors are invited to a Medieval Game Night hosted by the Ukrainian Studies Club, founded by HUSI alumni!

Join us for an evening that combines scholarship and entertainment through an immersive role-playing game inspired by Dungeons &amp; Dragons. This original game, "Princess Olha and Her Ascent to Power," invites participants to step into the political and cultural landscape of Kyivan Rus', bringing medieval history to life through collaborative storytelling.  
  
Based on primary sources—including The Primary Chronicle, De Ceremoniis by Constantine VII Porphyrogenitus, and the Chronicon of Adalbert of Magdeburg—the game offers an engaging introduction to Ukrainian history and language. Learn Ukrainian while playing, solving challenges, and shaping the story together. The game is held in English and is suitable for both native Ukrainian speakers and those with no knowledge of the language. Attendees are invited to enjoy light refreshments.  
  
[The Ukrainian Studies Club](https://Ukr-Game.Com) was founded just two months ago by HUSI alumni Serhii Tereshchenko (Class of 2014) and Olesia Tymoshenko (Class of 2024).
