Private event for 2024 Harvard Ukrainian Summer Institute (HUSI) students.

 HUSI students and instructors are invited to a casual reception to mark the opening of the summer term. Refreshments will be provided.

 The reception will take place alongside a special exhibition of photography and letters that was curated but one of HURI’s current Research Fellows, [Alex Averbuch](https://huri.harvard.edu/people/alex-averbuch-2024), while he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the [Davis Center](https://daviscenter.fas.harvard.edu/): “Our Life Behind Barbed Wire: Photography from Ukrainian Ostarbeiters in Nazi Germany.” The exhibition was organized by the Davis Center and co-sponsored by HURI. Dr. Averbuch will give HUSI students a short introduction to the exhibit, which closes on July 1, 2024.
