Summer Research Travel Grant Program

Both graduate and undergraduate students currently enrolled at Harvard are invited to apply to the HURI Summer Research Travel Grant Program for support to travel to Ukraine and the region during the summer of 2008 in order to conduct research on topics directly related to Ukrainian studies. Grants of up to $2,000 for graduate students and $1,500 for undergraduates will be available for travel and research expenses.

Applicants for the grant are to use the Common Application for Research and Travel (CARAT) administered by the Office of Career Services. For further information on the application submission process click here.

Completed applications are to be delivered to the Fellowships Office, Office of Career Services, 54 Dunster Street, by Tuesday, February 26, 2008, 12:00 p.m. Application proposals will be reviewed by HURI's selection committee and decisions will be announced early April.
Note: The Institute requires only one letter of recommendation.
